To promote Björn Borg's new spring fashion collection, Farfar decided to make a fashion catwalk with a twist. Farfar's creative team filmed a male and a female model playing tennis while showing off the new clothes.

The camera shows the models in new outfits for each stroke. The fashion show/tennis game was displayed on the website, bjornborg.com, and played again and again as a screensaver.

Macy's has been running screensavers on corporate and store computers for the last ten years using Screentime for Flash. The screensavers are designed and built by Sanger & Eby and installed by the Macy's IT department across 25,000 computers nationwide.

Fujistu, Sony, and HP have used Screentime to create custom screensavers that ship on their computers.

Nokia is busy launching Nokia Flagship Stores around the world which "aim to inspire and educate to the benefits of mobile communications through an innovative, interactive experience". And Nokia is using Screentime Media's mProjector to deliver on this aim. A major portion of this interactive experience is delivered by large state-of-the-art multimedia displays that wrap the store. On these displays, semi-transparent Flash-based applications made with mProjector interactively walk guests through the features and benefits of a wide range of Nokia products. The mProjector applications connect to a special bluetooth socket server enabling them to receive and respond to guest commands sent via in-store Nokia phones. The guest can even send text messages that can then be seen not only on the local store displays, but in other Nokia Flagship Store locations around the world.

Fedex Canada is using Screentime for Flash to produce a screensaver running on store computers nationwide. The screensaver includes a calendar and scenic shots of Fedex deliveries to destinations all across the globe.

Woodward is used mProjector and Flex to develop an enterprise resource planning (ERP) application to manage internal and external resources throughout their worldwide network of facilities.

Armani Exchange A | X Spring 09 Screensaver

Lots of hot bods (big surprise) for the new Armani Exchange screensaver. The trend for ultra-low riding pants seems to have crossed over from the woman to the men. How low can they go? Well we have to hope not much more, unless you're addicted to crack.

Flash Animation

Flash is a fantastic animation tool. However, on the web, animations need to be used judiciously - who hasn't skipped out of a site because the Flash intro is too long. But guess what? This one makes us a little dizzy but it's really cool. A globe spins and all sorts of things sprout out of it. An odd satellite whizzes overhead as well. As a bonus, the Tom Tom LiveChangingMaps.com website where the screensaver lives plays a little Bowie (Changes) as well...

HBO deso a really nice job here; not only do you get the Entourage entourage, but there are options to add other HBO series into this screensaver as well, so you can mix and match Sex and The City, The Sopranos and other HBO shows all in one place.

Bjorn Borg has gone into sportswear - and the result (as I like to think of it) is this very nice screensaver. Hot bodies combined with creative thinking result in a very nice looking pair (mixed) playing tennis, changing their outfits on every ball. Great fun to watch!

Bikini Screen Cleaner

We're not sure if our computers felt cleaner or dirtier after this, but they sure had fun. The Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet provides the entertainment, with their page 9 girls sudsing up your screen in their bikinis.

Bild.de German Interactive News

This is a really nice implementation of a dynamic screensaver. Bild.de, a German news site, presents story thumbnails in a virtual sphere. Click on one and it comes to the top and expands. Stories are dynamically pulled in, and you can browse by categories. The only thing missing (for us anyway) is an English version.

Web Service

mProjector and Screentime play Flash content and thus you can design applications that connect to online web services to deliver news and dynamic content.

KulerBlur

KulerBlur screensaver pulls in the most popular color-sets over the past 30 days from the Adobe Kuler web service, makes them into blurry dots and fires them around your screen. Get some color inspiration, or as in my case, just sit and be hypnotized by blurry colored dots bouncing around your screen.

Kuler Clock

Another Screensaver based on Adobe Kuler web service. This is a pretty cool clock great for Kuler geeks and the rest of us. The Kuler color set is updated every minute, and cached so it will work even without an internet connection. The clock changes time by being strafed with new Kuler colors. Lots of fun.

Media players with personality. Use the Flash and mProjector to skin a great looking media player that fits the personality of your content.

Inceptdate Radio Screensaver

Inceptdate Radio specializes in “Exploring the Art of Chill” and their new screensaver does just that. Listeners upload their photos from around the world and those photos are included in this interactive screensaver. Visit different parts of the world through other viewer’s eyes and experience the Art of Chill.

It's not often we tag corporate and cool together, but this is super geeky cool. Symantec provide a dynamic feed into the screen saver of various hacker threat stats from around the world along with a ThreatCon level. Can't wait to see what happens at ThreatCon 5...

Last.fm Music Quilt Screensaver

Last.fm enables you to create a little Quilt-work right on your desktop with their Music Quilt Screensaver. Just load it up, hit the "Options" button and enter a favorite tag (or your last.fm username) and it makes a nice quilt of album covers. We picked Punk and it stitched me up a nice selection of Punk Albums.

Alert Application

Fan is short for fanatic. A fan wants to be in the loop on the latest stories - nothing does the job better than an mProjector application that animates the system icon and pops a stylized window with news and images on the latest story.

UEFA Does it all - Screensaver and Desktop Alert App.

UEFA (European soccer for Americans) do a really nice job on this cross-platform screensaver and desktop alert app combo. Leveraging mProjector and Screentime together, they hook up the most devoted football junkie.

Getty Images have made a really nice dynamic screen saver that uses their Flickr cloud to make a cloud of images float around your screen. Very nice, check it out and you'll know what we mean.
