Farfar - Bjorn Borg Screensaver - bjornborg.com - 2008 CLIO Award, 2009 The One Show Award
To promote Björn Borg's new spring fashion collection, Farfar decided to make a fashion catwalk with a twist. Farfar's creative team filmed a male and a female model playing tennis while showing off the new clothes.
The camera shows the models in new outfits for each stroke. The fashion show/tennis game was displayed on the website, bjornborg.com, and played again and again as a screensaver.
Screentime for Flash helps Farfar deliver unique content that clients, peers, AND end-users love.

As a corporate marketing director, you are looking for new ways for your audience to experience your brand. Branded applications and screensavers extend a brand experience to the desktop. Your customers can't always be driving your car, watching your movie, or drinking your beer but chances are they are day-dreaming about it!
The application may be simple brand experience eye candy (Banana Republic screensaver with simple artsy color blends), a toy (Disney Tinker Bell desktop Buddy) or provide elaborate web-connected dynamic content (CNN Situation Room or UEFA Alert).
Ultimately your are connecting to your key customer - one that identifies with the brand and opts-in to customizing their home or work computer. And in doing so shares his or her brand loyalty with family, friends, and co-workers.
Your department is tasked with delivering a consistant look and feel across all corporate products and computers. Connected screensaver or desktop communicator applications can be the answer to keeping your end-users on the same page. Either of these solutions can deliver corporate branding, business goals, executive messaging, and news to computers company-wide.
Macy's, Nokia, HP, Fujitsu, Fedex

Nokia is busy launching Nokia Flagship Stores around the world which "aim to inspire and educate to the benefits of mobile communications through an innovative, interactive experience". And Nokia is using Screentime Media's mProjector to deliver on this aim. A major portion of this interactive experience is delivered by large state-of-the-art multimedia displays that wrap the store. On these displays, semi-transparent Flash-based applications made with mProjector interactively walk guests through the features and benefits of a wide range of Nokia products. The mProjector applications connect to a special bluetooth socket server enabling them to receive and respond to guest commands sent via in-store Nokia phones. The guest can even send text messages that can then be seen not only on the local store displays, but in other Nokia Flagship Store locations around the world.
Fedex Canada is using Screentime for Flash to produce a screensaver running on store computers nationwide. The screensaver includes a calendar and scenic shots of Fedex deliveries to destinations all across the globe.
Woodward is used mProjector and Flex to develop an enterprise resource planning (ERP) application to manage internal and external resources throughout their worldwide network of facilities.

Soundslides, Taazle, Idle Time Software
Soundslides is "Ridiculously Simple Storytelling". Soundslides is a wildly popular tool, made with mProjector, and used by thousands of newspapers, both large and small, worldwide. It makes quick work of slide show production, enabling journalists to deliver compelling stories, on deadline.
Taazle is a startup focused on desktops widgets - very cool, very fun, very unique widgets. It seemed to Taazle that the computer desktop was, well, too boring. Apparently what we all lacked was really unique, well designed, entertaining widgets that rarely serve a purpose other than pure enjoyment. Taazle is getting set to solve this problem. And Screentime tools help make these widgets a reality.
Idle Time Software makes your idle computer monitor worth watching. Cathy Davies, the creative visionary at Idle Time, says "Your computer doesn't have to just work and toil for you. Make your machine's idle time beautiful. Let your computer dream". And to that effect Idle Time Software has produced the popular cinematic screensavers Holding Pattern, Sunset 23, and Jubilee.
Branded applications and screensavers extend a brand experience to the desktop. Your customers can't always be driving your car, watching your movie, or drinking your beer but chances are they are day-dreaming about it!
Jaegermeister - Rudi & Ralph Live Cam
In order to get away from the glare of publicity that comes with being world famous Deer, Rudi and Ralph (the deer who appear on the front of each bottle of Jaegermeister) have their own Bavarian hideaway. Not to be denied, the folks at Jaegermeister have plugged in a few web cams, so we can stay up to date with their celebrity antlertics.
Aston Martin Interactive Screensaver
A beautifully made screensaver from Aston Martin. Aston's incredible cars are perfectly presented in this interactive screensaver. It checks for and downloads updates, includes a news feed with Aston stories and allows you to customize a slide show. One of most well designed screensavers we have seen.
Year of Audi - Dynamic Screensaver
A very nice dynamic screensaver. The Audi screensaver pulls in news, images and videos each month to keep things fresh. Also includes a clock with date and time.
A creatively designed mProjector application or Screentime screensaver can be a great viral marketing tool - "Hey, what's that playing on your computer"!? Most movie and video game web sites now offer downloadable Screentime based content enabling their fans to enjoy their brand off-line.
Grand Theft Auto lV
Grand Theft Auto IV is here with the best and brightest views of Liberty City - where capitalism and big egos collide.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
The latest installment in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The screensaver lets you set how often trains arrive at the station delivering new passengers - who just happen to be Harry Potter cast members, wands at the ready.
Fans look forward to tournaments, movie openings, new product launches, the next big game... Screensavers and branded desktop applications can get them psyched with countdowns, news, insider tips and more - as well as enabling them to share the event with friends, and even provide them with direct links to ticket sales.
Stade De France
A dynamic, interactive screensaver providing a feed of upcoming events at the Stade. Also some nice physics, as blocks with upcoming performance information tumble down the screen. Date and time also bounce in on their own blocks. The Cubists would be proud.
The holidays are coming (Halloween, Valentines Day, Summer Solstice, whatever) and people love to decorate their houses, their office... and their computers in the spirit of the holiday. Give them something fun to spread the spirit and your brand.
H Damashek Holiday Screensaver
This screensaver was created by Damashek Consulting last Christmas as a little holiday iGift for their clients and friends. We think it's fantastic, and bet their clients loved it too. Rollover, click on, and explore the holiday delights in H. Damashek & CO's Curious & Wonderous Whatnots. You never know what hidden treasures you might find!
Scarytime Halloween Screensaver from MacScreensavers
A special treat from MacScreensavers and Screentime Media - We've built a halloween screensaver with ghosts, ghouls, flying cows and more. Frankenstein makes a guest appearance, and we cap it all off with the grim reaper.
Holiday Snowman by Beck Interactive
This is a jolly little character that strolls along your desktop along with a merry tune. He also will dance for you, wave hello, turn into a snow globe for you to shake up, and he has a countdown clock to the new year!
Utilize the power and beauty of Flash to uniquely extend your social network to platforms outside of the browser - onto the desktop and inside a screensaver.
Sprint Now Network
Sprint Now is creative eye candy on steroids. Simply configure the screensaver with your location, twitter account, facebook and flikr information and it then dynamically pulls in information from these and other sources in the cloud, presenting a dynamic picture of your world. Really great stuff.
Pretty Loaded - Pretty Awesome
Pretty Loaded is one the most entertaining screensavers we've seen in a while (and we've seen a lot). This screensaver is a museum of pre-loaders - those little Flash clips that play while a website loads. The diversity is endless and the creativity goes up to 11. We give this one 4 thumbs up.
Fashion is visual and screensavers are a perfect medium to deliver style and image. Rolex, Diesel, Hugo Boss, Salvatore Ferragamo, Dior, BVLGARI, Fossil, and Hermes are just a few names we can drop here.
Armani Exchange A | X Spring 09 Screensaver
Lots of hot bods (big surprise) for the new Armani Exchange screensaver. The trend for ultra-low riding pants seems to have crossed over from the woman to the men. How low can they go? Well we have to hope not much more, unless you're addicted to crack.
Flash is a fantastic animation tool. However, on the web, animations need to be used judiciously - who hasn't skipped out of a site because the Flash intro is too long. But guess what? Screensavers (no such thing as too long) and desktop buddies are the perfect place to show off your skills and dazzle your clients. Go ahead, go for it!
Tom Tom Around the World
This one makes us a little dizzy but it's really cool. A globe spins and all sorts of things sprout out of it. An odd satellite whizzes overhead as well. As a bonus, the Tom Tom LiveChangingMaps.com website where the screensaver lives plays a little Bowie (Changes) as well...
If you have great pictures, you need to go no further. Some of our favorite screensavers are simple slideshows - fashion, movies, and cars all look great in this format.
HBO Entourage Screensaver
HBO deso a really nice job here; not only do you get the Entourage entourage, but there are options to add other HBO series into this screensaver as well, so you can mix and match Sex and The City, The Sopranos and other HBO shows all in one place.
Sunset 23 - Hollywood Time Lapse - Idle Time Software
The Hollywood sign: icon of glamour, magnet for the ambitious, crumbling real estate billboard, historical site. Experience two hours in the life of the sign with this beautiful sunset time lapse screen saver. Screensaver includes a settings screen to change how fast time goes by.
mProjector and Screentime can play Flash Video content (FLVs).
Bjorn Borg - In Action
Bjorn Borg has gone into sportswear - and the result (as I like to think of it) is this very nice screensaver. Hot bodies combined with creative thinking result in a very nice looking pair (mixed) playing tennis, changing their outfits on every ball. Great fun to watch!
Bikini Screen Cleaner
We're not sure if our computers felt cleaner or dirtier after this, but they sure had fun. The Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet provides the entertainment, with their page 9 girls sudsing up your screen in their bikinis.
Anything possible in Flash is possible as a Screentime screensaver and mProjector desktop application.
Bild.de German Interactive News
This is a really nice implementation of a dynamic screensaver. Bild.de, a German news site, presents story thumbnails in a virtual sphere. Click on one and it comes to the top and expands. Stories are dynamically pulled in, and you can browse by categories. The only thing missing (for us anyway) is an English version.
mProjector and Screentime play Flash content and thus you can design applications that connect to online web services to deliver news and dynamic content.
KulerBlur screensaver pulls in the most popular color-sets over the past 30 days from the Adobe Kuler web service, makes them into blurry dots and fires them around your screen. Get some color inspiration, or as in my case, just sit and be hypnotized by blurry colored dots bouncing around your screen.
Another Screensaver based on Adobe Kuler web service. This is a pretty cool clock great for Kuler geeks and the rest of us. The Kuler color set is updated every minute, and cached so it will work even without an internet connection. The clock changes time by being strafed with new Kuler colors. Lots of fun.
Media players with personality. Use the Flash and mProjector to skin a great looking media player that fits the personality of your content.
Inceptdate Radio Screensaver
Inceptdate Radio specializes in “Exploring the Art of Chill” and their new screensaver does just that. Listeners upload their photos from around the world and those photos are included in this interactive screensaver. Visit different parts of the world through other viewer’s eyes and experience the Art of Chill.
Symantec Threat Monitor
It's not often we tag corporate and cool together, but this is super geeky cool. Symantec provide a dynamic feed into the screen saver of various hacker threat stats from around the world along with a ThreatCon level. Can't wait to see what happens at ThreatCon 5...
Last.fm Music Quilt Screensaver
Last.fm enables you to create a little Quilt-work right on your desktop with their Music Quilt Screensaver. Just load it up, hit the "Options" button and enter a favorite tag (or your last.fm username) and it makes a nice quilt of album covers. We picked Punk and it stitched me up a nice selection of Punk Albums.
Fan is short for fanatic. A fan wants to be in the loop on the latest stories - nothing does the job better than an mProjector application that animates the system icon and pops a stylized window with news and images on the latest story.
UEFA Does it all - Screensaver and Desktop Alert App.
UEFA (European soccer for Americans) do a really nice job on this cross-platform screensaver and desktop alert app combo. Leveraging mProjector and Screentime together, they hook up the most devoted football junkie.
Got content in the cload? A nifty desktop application or screensaver offers a novel approach to view and access your media - a visual portal that your audience will love.
Getty Images - Flickr Cloud
Getty Images have made a really nice dynamic screen saver that uses their Flickr cloud to make a cloud of images float around your screen. Very nice, check it out and you'll know what we mean.
People, young and old, love toys!
O'Taazle Baum - Taazle.com
Taazle created a festive little Christmas Tree Widget to help brighten your monitor and bring a little digital holiday joy straight to your desktop. Their customers loved it.
For the launch Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend website, Beck created a desktop buddy version of Lara that performs stunts on the user's desktop while delivered late breaking game news. For their award winning "We Love Katamari" campaign, Beck included a desktop buddy that could be customized with presents and characters on return visits to the site. And users could share their buddies with friends.
To promote their theme parks, Disney has released mProjector-based "collectable" desktop buddies to resort club members. Members can return periodically to download the last character. We love how Tinkerbell flies around and sprinkels our monitors with fairy dust.
Woodward -- Woodward.com
The IT team at Woodward used mProjector and Flex to develop their enterprise resource planning (ERP). This application manages internal and external resources including tangible assets, financial resources, materials, and human resources over a worldwide network of manufacturing facilities and sales offices, distributors and dealers, and authorized service facilities
