Single File .SCR

Does Screentime PC make a single file .scr?

No but there's not much more too it. A Screentime installer installs an .scr and a directory containing your content files.

We did this to maximize our screensaver engines responsiveness. When our screensaver sleeps, the saver accesses the content files directly from the hard drive, so there's waiting for the .scr to unpack content to a temp directory.

For Screentime 3.7 or later the screensaver engine is in the System32 directory and the data files reside in the Common Application Data directory (%ALLUSERSAPPDATA%).

screensaver:

C:\Windows\System32\thenameofyourscreensaver.scr

screensaver data files:

%ALLUSERSAPPDATA%\Screentime\thenameofyourscreensaver\*.*

On Windows XP %ALLUSERSAPPDATA% resolves to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data". On Vista %ALLUSERSAPPDATA% resolves to "C:\ProgramData\".
