Frequently Asked Questions
Mute Sound
Question:
Can I let my end user mute the sound on the screen savers I produce using ScreenTime for Flash?
Answer:
If you only creating a saver for Windows, you can include a mute button as part of the "Settings" tab of the Screentime builder application.

If you are making a cross-platform screen saver, you have two options:
1) add a mute button or a set of keydowns in your screen saver that will mute the sound.
2) add a mute setting to your screen saver settings window. Check out our Sound Saver for instructions and code to add mute and sound level control to your settings window.
